Zusama implements a multi-tier performance-based referral framework designed to accelerate network expansion while preserving contribution integrity within the decentralized AI ecosystem.
The system is engineered to reward productive onboarding, not passive signups.
Referral Structure
The referral mechanism operates on a 2-level hierarchical commission model:
Level 1 (Direct Referral) → Earn 10% of the referee’s total validated Points per Reward Round.
Level 2 (Indirect Referral) → Earn 4% of the referee’s total validated Points per Reward Round.
Referral Capacity → Unlimited direct referrals per account. → Commission depth strictly limited to 2 levels.
Referral rewards are calculated from net validated Points, not raw activity submissions.
Operational Flow
1️⃣ A registered user generates a unique referral code or tracking link from the Zusama dashboard.
2️⃣ The invited participant registers and connects a verified wallet.
3️⃣ Upon successful verification and first valid contribution:
Referrer receives a 50 Point onboarding bonus
Referee receives a 50 Point activation bonus
4️⃣ During each Reward Round:
Referral rewards are automatically calculated based on referee’s validated performance
Points are added to the referrer’s round total
Final $ZUS distribution follows the standard proportional reward formula
All referral rewards are:
Accounted in Points
Aggregated into the same conversion pool
Settled at the end of the Reward Round

Duplicate wallet detection via hashed identity fingerprints
Behavioral clustering analysis to flag coordinated activity
Contribution Requirement
Referral commissions activate only if the referee completes at least one validated contribution (node activity, data validation, or ecosystem task)
Depth Limitation
Referral reward depth capped at 2 levels
Prevents exponential pyramid compounding
Activity-Based Eligibility
Referrers must maintain minimum participation thresholds to remain eligible for ongoing commissions
